Detailed explanation of AISI assistant machine inspection
Why can Aisi Machine Inspection detect refurbished machines? What items are tested? This article talks about the principle, coverage and reliability of the inspection machine.
The principle of machine inspection
When each iPhone leaves the factory, each core component (screen, battery, camera, etc.) has a serial number record that matches the motherboard. This information is consistent with the original machine; if a part has been replaced with a non-original one or comes from another device, the serial number will not match. Aisi Assistant reads and compares these underlying information to identify replacement traces. According to Apple's official repair policy, original accessories replaced by authorized service providers will have updated records, which is also one of the basis for judgment.
Test items covered by the inspection machine
- Device information: Model, serial number, IMEI, regulatory model
- sales type:Retail machine, official replacement machine, official refurbished machine, demonstration machine
- Activation and Warranty: Activation date, warranty expiration, activation lock status
- Battery: Serial number, health level, number of charging cycles, manufacturer
- Screen: Whether the display is original
- Camera: Whether the front and rear cameras have been replaced
- Face ID/Fingerprint: Whether the biometric module matches
- harddisk: Capacity, whether to expand capacity
How to read the report
ReportinggreenIndicates that the part is normal, redIndicates that it may be replaced or abnormal. Focus on the motherboard, screen, front and rear cameras, battery, and Face ID. If the battery serial number, camera, and Face ID are all marked in red, it is likely that the motherboard has been replaced and you should give up.
Reliability and Limitations of Inspection Machines
For most refurbishment, screen replacement, battery replacement, and capacity expansion machines, the recognition rate of AISI inspection machines is very high. However, high-end modified machines may bypass detection by flashing serial numbers. So remember:Aisi's green color does not mean there is absolutely no problem, but it must be red.. It is recommended to use the serial number to check the warranty status on Apple’s official website for cross verification. Why doesn’t all green mean original?See detailsIs the Ace All Green original machine?, explain the three-in-one identification method of green modification techniques, anti-green modification mechanisms and second-hand machine inspection.
